Ingredients:
4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) real butter (softened)
1 c. butter flavored Crisco shortening (1 stick)
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
4 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 bag (12 oz.) Nestle's Toll House Semi-Sweet Morsels
1 bag (12 oz.) Nestle's Toll House Premier White Morsels
Instructions:
Heat oven to 350 deg. F
In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir with a fork until mixed thoroughly.
In large electric mixer bowl, cream both sugars, butter and Crisco. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each. Add vanilla.
Slowly add flour mixture.
With a large spoon, thoroughly mix in both types of chocolate morsels.
Drop large spoonfuls (about 1/4 c.) onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Cook for 14 minutes at 350 deg. (cookies will look uncooked when done)
Allow to cool on the cookie sheet for 5-10 min. before transferring to a paper cooling sheet (I use paper grocery bags). Makes about 24-27 4" cookies
